Doctoral Consortium

Due to the pandemic and the time zones spanned by students, reviewers, and DC Chairs, the AIED Doctoral Consortium this year is organized asynchronously.

Authors of accepted contributions develop ppt presentations and recorded videos that are reviewed by several designated mentors. DC Chairs summarize the reviews and provide consolidated feedback to students.

The list of accepted DC contributions:

  • Rashmi Khazanchi. Impact of Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS) on Mathematics Knowledge Construction using ALEKS.
  • Matthew Woodruff. Contextual Safeguarding in Education: Bayesian network risk analysis for decision support.
  • Joe Olsen and Janice Gobert. Automatically Measuring and Scaffolding Mathematics Practices for Content Acquisition.
  • Yanjun Gao and Rebecca Passonneau. Automated Assessment of Quality and Coverage of Ideas in Students’ Source-based Writing.
